Two hurt after sun deck collapse at La Mercy home
Two people are recovering in hospital after a sun deck they were sitting on collapsed at their La Mercy home, north of Durban.
Volunteers from the Community Emergency Response Team say they were called to the premises last night and found ten people who were injured in the incident.
It's understood that the family had been on the wooden deck for an event when the incident occurred.
Medi Response paramedics say they treated the patients who had minor to moderate injuries.
Two people were transported to hospital for further care.
The cause of the collapse is unknown.
