Two farmers shot dead near Vryheid
A community near Vryheid is in mourning after a double murder in the Gluckstadt area this week.
The Police's Thulani Zwane says a gang of more than 12 men opened fire on three farmers at their home in the Swart Mfolozi area on Tuesday night, killing two of them.
Zwane says six men are being questioned by police.
"The six that were taken in for questioning were taken in because they are suspected of being involved. They can't appear in court since we are still investigating to see if they are involved in the attack," he said.
Meanwhile, Community Safety MEC, Willies Mchunu's condemned the attack. The third farmer survived the ordeal.
