Two bodies wash ashore north of Durban

Two bodies have washed up at two separate beaches in the north of Durban.

Authorities were at Casuarina Beach in Westbrook, where a woman was found dead on Thursday.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Revati Priya says the victim is believed to have been in her 30s.
"SAPS are on scene, and the circumstances surrounding the incident will form part of an investigation."
On Thursday morning, a fisherman discovered another woman's body in the surf at Umdloti Beach and called for help.
Police are investigating the circumstances around the two deaths.

Meanwhile, a taxi passenger is in hospital with severe injuries after being struck by a flying metal object, south of Durban.
Garrith Jamieson from ALS Paramedics says they rushed to the scene of the freak accident on the M4 near Quality Street on Thursday.
"It is believed a steel object flew off a truck and pierced through the windscreen of the taxi.
"A passenger sitting in the front seat has sustained serious injuries and is being stabilised by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before they will be transported to a nearby hospital for the further care they require.
Saps is on scene and will be investigating further."
