An inquest docket has been opened after two bodies were found in a Transnet pipeline fuel bunker in Estcourt.

The Bomb Disposal Unit was called to the scene after the men were discovered by Transnet officials on Thursday.
It is not yet known how long they had been in there for.
KZN police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says a huge concrete slab had to be removed with a crane for rescuers to gain access.
"It is alleged on 14 November 2019 at 08:10, on the R103 in Frere two bodies of unknown men were found in a fuel bunker."
"It is suspected that the males were attempting to steal fuel from the undergoing fuel pipe when they succumbed from the fumes in the bunker. The matter is still under investigation," she said.
The bodies have not yet been identified.
