33-year-old Zamani Lloyd Blose was sentenced in the Durban High Court this week.

In his plea he admitted that after getting the job in August last year, he agreed to be part of a robbery when a group of men he had been transporting broke into a house- getting away with some valuables in Northdene, in Queensburgh.

A week later the same group called him, to commit another house robbery in Westville.

The NPA's Natasha Kara says Blose acknowledged that when he embarked on this crime, he foresaw that people including himself could be injured or killed but he continued regardless.

“He pleaded guilty to several charges, including robbery, housebreaking with an intent to rob, robbery with aggravating circumstances, two counts of murder, two counts of attempted murder,” Kara said.

“In the Westville robbery two of Blose’s accomplices, were killed in a shootout with the homeowners,” she added.
