Tshegofatso Pule’s killer tells court of murder

Muzikayise Malepane
has told the High Court in Johannesburg that he did not have the guts to hang
Tshegofatso Pule while she was still alive.
Malepane continued his testimony in the trial against Pule’s boyfriend Ntuthuko Shoba on Thursday.
He previously told the court that Shoba allegedly met with him and asked him to find him someone who could kill Pule.
He wanted to make it look like a suicide by hanging her on the Mariasburg bridge.
Shoba’s lawyer Advocate Norman Makhubela asked Malepane when the plan to hang Pule changed, since he says he shot her.

“The plan didn’t change, but I didn’t have the guts to hang her alive,” said Malepane.
He said after shooting her, he still proceeded to hang her at Durban Deep in Roodepoort, some 800 meters from his place.
Malepane told the court he threw the gun he used to kill Pule in a dam in Bronkhorstspruit.
