Trump mock assassination video sparks controversy
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Already in the midst of controversy, President Donald Trump has now reacted to a music video showing a mock execution of a clown dressed as the current POTUS.

The video for "Lavender" (Nightfall Remix) by rap star, Snoop Dogg takes aim at police shootings and Trump.
Dogg references last year's killing of Philando Castile, whose shooting by a police officer during a traffic stop was live-streamed by Castile's partner while Trump is impersonated by a clown, Ronald Klump.
Responding to the tune on Twitter, the billionaire investor said the musician would have gotten "jail time" had he pointed his gun at former statesman, Barack Obama in a video.
Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!

Known for his impulsive tweets, Trump's personal Twitter account has just over 26 million followers.
Earlier this month, Trump set off a furor when he tweeted that president Barack Obama had put a wiretap on communications at Trump Tower before the November 8 US elections.
