Trucks stopped on N2, Durban metro police monitoring situation
Updated | By Xolani Khumalo
The Durban metro police are closely monitoring the N2 highway in the vicinity of Durban's old airport, south of the city, after trucks were stopped on Wednesday.

About 100 members thought to be associated with the All Truck Drivers' Forum had been allegedly stopping trucks and pulling out drivers.
The ATDF had previously made a call for South African Truck companies to prioritise the employment of South African citizens.
“It’s also alleged that the so-called ADTF members were stopping trucks and checking for drivers licences and checking for documents from the drivers of these trucks.
“The Durban metro police are closely monitoring the area,” says spokesperson Parboo Sewparsad.
