Tributes pour in for late Minister
Updated | By Bernadette Wolhuter
Tributes have been pouring in for the Minister of Environmental Affairs, Edna Molewa, who died yesterday.

A statement issued by the Presidency yesterday afternoon said Molewa had died in a Pretoria Hospital, following a period of illness. Spokesperson for the ANC in KZN Nomagugu Simelane-Zulu says Molewa will be sorely missed in the province.
"The ANC in this province is mostly affected because she was also our deployee and she was convener of the team responsible for taking the province to the ANC conference in July", she said.
"In the time that we have worked with her we witnessed her being a word worker and also how she was a principled person. She was unwavering in principle but firm without being aggressive", Simelane-Zulu said.
A period of mourning has been declared and the flag will be flown at half mast at all flag stations countrywide and at South African diplomatic missions abroad during this time.
