Travellers urged to arrive early at Cape Town airport

The Airports Company South Africa is urging travellers flying out of Cape Town International Airport to arrive several hours earlier as a taxi strike rages on.

At least two deaths have been reported as a result of the violence in the city.
Mass disruptions and delays have been on roads leading to the airport.

ACSA has advised passengers to arrive two hours early for domestic flights and four hours before international flights.
It says the airport is operating, even though staff constraints have impacted some services.
