'Travel at your own risk' - Naledi Pandor on international travels

International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor has warned travellers that as stricter lockdown restrictions are looming, international fights could be cancelled.
"Countries in the northern hemisphere are encountering a second wave of the pandemic. please be aware, if you do travel, you travel at your own risk to leave the country, knowing the current circumstances and the uncertainty associated with that."
"Please be sure that you are familiar with the immigration and health entry requirements of the country you will visit and South Africa's entry health requirements during the pandemic."

At a briefing, she said some countries were entering or already in a second wave of the pandemic.
The Minister has cautioned travellers to reconsider their plans and postpone non-essential travel to high-risk countries.
She said travellers might become distressed or even destitute abroad, pending the levels of lockdown in those countries.
Pandor said from level five of lockdown, more than 30,000 South Africans were repatriated due to being stranded.
