Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
The country's citrus industry has taken a knock following last week's cyberattack on Transnet.

The major disruption to state-owned ports took place exactly a week ago, disabling Transnet 's IT systems.

All four ports in Durban, Ngqura, Gqeberha and Cape Town were affected.
The association's Justin Chadwick says most of their cargo is transported from Durban.
In order to ease the pressure on South Africa's ports, growers are diverting fruit to the port in Maputo.
"We are very fortunate in the weather at the moment its fairy cold even in Durban it's fairly cold and that will assist in terms of the shelf life in ensuring that the quality doesn't deteriorate.
