Tragic end to search for missing Cowies Hill man
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The family of a Cowies Hill resident, who was reported missing a week ago, says they are battling to come to terms with his death.

Leo Govender's disappearance sparked a massive search last weekend.
His brother, Wayne, says the 38-year-old is believed to have gone to a club on Joe Slovo Road on Friday night with a former colleague.

He says days into their search for him, police confirmed that Leo had tragically died in a car crash on the outskirts of the CBD that same night.
"If you ever knew Leo, he was so boisterous and fun. Anybody would say he was so generous. If you are at a restaurant, he would never let you pay. He was a lovely person to be around, and he was good-spirited."
Govender will be laid to rest on Saturday.
