Tourism KZN urges residents and holidaymakers to save water
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Tourism KwaZulu-Natal has added its voice to urgent calls for residents to conserve water.
This comes as tighter water restrictions were introduced on Sunday in a fresh bid to save water.
KZN has been hard-hit by water shortages due to the serious drought.
Tourism KZN CEO, Ndaba Khoza says his entity is preparing to welcome thousands of holidaymakers to the seaside province in coming weeks.
"We really do urge people to behave and use water sparingly wherever they are. Whether you're at home or on holiday - all of us as South Africans have a responsibility to conserve water and making sure that we don't do activities that lead to water wastage," he said.
