Tongaat mother and daughter killed in ‘domestic dispute’

A mother and her daughter have been shot and killed in
Tongaat, north of Durban following an apparent domestic dispute.

IPSS Medical Rescue says paramedics were called to the scene in the Fairbreeze area earlier this morning.
Spokesperson, Paul Herbst says the pair had already passed away by the time emergency services arrived.

Initial reports from the scene are that a male known to the daughter arrived at the home and an argument ensued.
The suspect then allegedly drew a firearm and shot both the mother and daughter before fleeing the scene.

Herbst says police and crime scene investigators were at the home earlier.
