Tongaat man shot dead outside his home
Tongaat police are investigating - after a 50-year-old resident was shot dead in the garden of his Main Road home.
Rodney Naicker was apparently checking on his water meter, when he was attacked on Friday night.
Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says nothing was taken and that the motive is not known at this stage.
"Tongaat police have opened a case of murder. The 50-year-old was approached by two suspects who allegedly shot and killed him. At this stage, no arrests have been made and the matter is still under investigation," Zwane said.
