Tongaat father accused of raping daughter (5)
Detectives and prosecutors will meet with a woman and her five-year-old daughter on Wednesday after the child was raped, allegedly by her father.
The incident was reported by the mother to Tongaat police on Monday.
KZN police spokesperson Jay Naicker says the little girl was taken for a medical examination.

He says a case of rape was opened and transferred to the Phoenix Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.
"They will meet with the prosecutor tomorrow as well as there will be a consultation with the child and any witnesses that can also corroborate what happened and from there, the investigation will progress further."
