Toddler dies after pitbull attack in Umlazi
An Umlazi toddler has died after being attacked by the family's pitbull.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the three-year-old had been in the garden at the time of the attack and suffered severe bite wounds.
He says members of the family rushed the boy inside where he was later found by paramedics.
''Tragically, the child died before our arrival due to extensive injuries that he had sustained. SAPS was on scene and they are busy investigating at the incident,'' he said.
