Tighter security, emergency services set for Rage Festival
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Preparations are well underway ahead of this year's Rage Festival.

Organisers say more than 10 000 event passports have already been sold for the popular end-of-year parties.
The number's expected to increase though, as day-passes will also be sold ahead of individual events.
The festival will see a number of pool parties and raves taking place at select venues between Umhlanga and Ballito - north of Durban.
G&G Productions expects thousands of matric pupils to begin heading to the area in the coming days.
Grade 12 exams officially wrapped up yesterday. The company's Marina Oreb says the main attraction has moved from Durban to Ballito this year.
"They are very strict about what is allowed into the festival grounds. We also have an onsite hospital - if something had to happen like from a sprained ankle to any other serious matters. We also have peer-to-peer contact which is our Red Frogs and the Rage Festival passport has a registration system on it.

"So should something happen, we can just scan the passport and get all their information including emergency contact numbers," she said.
