Thunderstorms expected in KZN on Friday, Saturday

The South African Weather Service has issued a yellow level two alert for severe thunderstorms for parts of KZN on Friday.
Forecaster Ayanda Ntanzi says localised flooding and damaging winds should be expected as well.
She says thunderstorms are already active in southern part of the province.

"Storms are already active and observed over the Southern parts of the province, Ixopo side , Richmond and southern parts of Pietermaritzburg and moving towards the coastline.
"For tomorrow, we're expecting pretty much similar conditions of 60% or so over the interior also over there's sever thunderstorms is also on track for tomorrow afternoon as well."
