Three suspects wanted in connection with theft at KZN DoJ
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The Hawks in KZN are searching for three suspects in connection with the theft of more than R17 million from the Department of Justice in Pietermaritzburg.

The money was transferred from the Guardian's Fund to several entities. The facility holds funds for the legally incapable, such as minors and others unable to manage their own finances.
Hawks spokesperson Simphiwe Mhlongo says Nkosinathi Mtambo, Themba Nhleko and Phumlani Mhlongo are wanted on fraud charges.

"The wanted suspects are believed to be around Durban. Warrants of arrest have been issued for them. Anyone with information of their whereabouts is requested to contact Captain Brad Swift on 082 567 4146 or 033 845 8534."
Earlier this year, two people were arrested in the case on charges of fraud and money laundering.
More than R8 million has since been recovered with the assistance of the Asset Forfeiture Unit.
