Three people shot dead on N3 near Mariannhill
Three people have been killed in a shooting incident on the N3 near the Mariannhill Toll Plaza, west of Durban.
The incident happened just before the toll plaza on the Durban-bound carriageway.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says a critically injured person is currently being transported to hospital.
"On a arrival, paramedics found police in attendance. Paramedics can confirm that three people died at the scene. A critically injured person is being taken to hospital for further care. SAPS will be investigating further," he said.

Traffic has been severely affected on the eastbound carriageway, that is heading from Pietermaritzburg towards Durban.
