Three people shot and killed in Durban over the weekend

KwaZulu-Natal detectives are probing three separate murder cases after attacks in Durban over the weekend.
In Verulam, a man was killed and his mother wounded after they were shot in their home by a gunman who entered their home on Saturday night.
The police's Nqobile Gwala says it's understood that there were two suspects.
"Charges of murder and attempted murder are investigated by Verulam SAPS after victims were allegedly shot. A 19-year-old man was declared dead at the scene then two people were taken to hospital for medical attention. The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage."
In the second incident, Gwala says two men were killed and another left injured in a shooting incident in Montclair, south of Durban.

"Three people were in a vehicle in Woodlands when they were shot by unknown people who were travelling in another vehicle. Two occupants were declared dead at the scene. The driver was taken to hospital for medical attention."
