Three pedestrians killed in Durban ambulance crash

Three people have been killed and another has been rushed to hospital after being knocked down by an ambulance in Durban.
A Rescue Care crew that was responding to an emergency lost control of the vehicle on Booth Road in Cato Manor.
Rescue Care Operations Director, Garrith Jamieson says it rolled onto pedestrians on the pavement.
"Pedestrians had sustained critical injuries and were stabilised on scene by paramedics before being rushed through to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required. Unfortunately, three pedestrians have passed away after this accident."
Jamieson has extended his condolences to the families of the victims.
