Three Durban officers accused of bribery due in court
Updated | By Sandile Zikhali
Three police constables are due to line up in the Verulam Magistrate's Court today for allegedly demanding bribes from a Phoenix business owner.

They're accused of raiding the tavern illegally on Wednesday night and were arrested after the owner reported the matter.
An undisclosed amount of cash was found in their possession.
The police's Thulani Zwane says the suspects are aged between 29 and 31.
"This arrest goes a long way in demonstrating that police officers will not tolerate corruption- even if it is their own colleagues that are accused."
