Three people, including two children, have been killed in separate crashes on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.
Kwazulu Private Ambulance's Craig Botha says a car collided with a tree on the R620 in Uvongo this morning, claiming two lives, including that of a a 12-year-old.
It's believed the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Botha says medics found two people trapped in the car.
”Medics and firefighters worked on extricating the patients from the car. During the extrication process the patients deteriorated and despite the best efforts of paramedics and advanced life support practitioners the patients were sadly declared dead on the scene.”
One person was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
