Three killed in Colenso crash

Three people including an 8-year-old child have been killed after two cars crashed on the R74 near Colenso south of Ladysmith in northern KZN.
The Road Traffic Inspectorate says a Toyota Tazz and Opel Corsa collided head-on in the early hours of this morning.
RTI's Zinhle Mngomezulu says one other person was seriously hurt.
"[Those] injured were taken to Escourt Provincial hospital. Three counts of culpable homicide are being investigated.There was an obstruction at about 7am, but the road was reopened to traffic," he said.
Meanwhile, 18 people have been hurt in a crash involving two cars, a taxi and a truck.
The vehicles collided at the intersection of South Coast and Bluff roads in the Jacobs area south of Durban.
Injuries ranged from minor to moderate. Emergency services on scene say traffic has been severely affected in the area.
