Three people have been killed in a plane crash in Benoni on Gauteng's East Rand.

Emergency services say the light aircraft went down in the area of Watville.
ER24's Pieter Rossouw says the plane was found on its roof.
"On assessment, paramedics found the bodies of three people lying inside the aircraft. Unfortunately, all three occupants had already succumbed to their fatal injuries.
"The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations," he said.
