Three people have been killed in an accident involving a truck and a bakkie in Durban.

The collision happened at the corner of NMR Avenue and Battery Beach Road on Thursday afternoon.
Rescue Care spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson says another victim escaped with injuries.
"At this stage, the events leading up to the collision are unknown. However, it is a T-Bone collision. It's believed that the SUV was turning and the truck T-Boned him."
"One passenger was entrapped in the wreckage and the jaws of life and other hydraulic equipment needed to be used to free them from the wreckage."
"He is currently being transported through to a nearby hospital. The driver of the SUV has sustained minor injuries, and the truck driver has sustained no injuries," he said.
