Three hurt in Durban M4 head-on crash
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Three men are receiving treatment following a head-on collision along the M4 Ruth First Highway in Durban North last night.
The vehicles crashed shortly after 7pm near the Swapo Road, formerly Broadway bridge.
Emergency services say one of the cars veered across the centre median and into oncoming traffic.
Crisis Medical says two men suffered moderate injuries while the third escaped with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, a truck driver's been seriously hurt in a separate crash after the heavy goods vehicle he was driving left the N3 on Van Reenen's Pass last night.
The truck's cab came to a rest on a tree. Medics say the man managed to climb out of the cab and jump to the ground before they arrived at the scene.
He was taken to a Harrismith hospital for further care.
