Three hijacking suspects killed in Highflats shootout
Three people have been killed in a shootout with police in Highflats, southwest of KZN.
Provincial police say officers intercepted a car that had been hijacked in Umzinto on the south coast on Tuesday.
They say the driver was ordered to stop, but the occupants instead started firing at the police.
The officers shot dead three of them when they returned fire.

A fourth suspect was arrested, and two guns were recovered from the vehicle.
