Three dead, two injured after Umlazi shooting
Three people have died in a shooting incident during a robbery at a shopping mall on Umlazi's Mangosuthu Highway, this afternoon.
They were allegedly gunned down by unknown people.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says the victims died instantly on the scene.
"Two other people sustained serious wounds. They were transported to hospitals before our arrival," he said.
A pregnant woman has been confirmed as one of the injured.
Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the shootings.
