Winnie Madikizela-Mandela's funeral service got underway at Orlando Stadium early on Saturday morning.

Thousands of supporters, dignitaries, local and foreign activists, and political leaders all gathered at Orlando Stadium to bid a final farewell to the woman affectionately known as 'the mother of the nation'.
Winnie Madikizela-Mandela died at the Milpark hospital in Johannesburg on the 2nd of April. She was 81 years old.
"South Africans have taken the responsibility to carry mama's coffin high and raise our fists much higher, in a form of saying to her - we remember what you have done," said Communications Minister Nomvula Mokonyane.
Supporters again lined the streets, many raising a clenched fist, as her body was taken from her home to the stadium for the last time.
Singing started early at the stadium as mourners patiently waited for the ceremony to get underway.
