There's a winner in largest US Powerball lottery
It's been confirmed that one person has won the Powerball lottery in the US - the largest amount ever to be claimed by a single person.
The prize money's worth the equivalent of R9.2 billion. The winner bought the golden ticket from a shop in Massachusetts.
The Pennsylvania Lottery says the jackpot is the second-largest ever. In January last year, $1.6 billion was shared by three winning tickets.
