Thabo Mbeki slams arms deal whistleblowers

Former President Thabo Mbeki has hit out at the arms deal whistleblowers at a media briefing in Johannesburg on Monday. 

Mbeki said the whisteblowers failed to produce any evidence of wrong doing in the defence procurement processes. Mbeki also said Tony Yengeni and Schabir Shaik's convictions weren't related to the arms deal.
