A 14-year-old boy has drowned at Snake Park Beach in Durban.

Paramedics say the teenage got caught in the surf, while swimming with two other children, aged 9 and 17.
Netcare 911's Chris Botha says attempts by the SAPS Search and Rescue team, lifeguards and paramedics to resuscitate the boy failed.
"The nine and 17-year-old have serious signs and symptoms of near-drowning. They've been treated and transported through to a nearby hospital for further care," he said.
This morning, a 33-year-old man drowned at South Beach in Durban. It's believed he got into difficulty in the water just before 6am.
