Teen returns missing Port Shepstone baby, flees

A 19-year-old from the KZN south coast, who allegedly kidnapped her baby nephew is on the run again.

She returned the child at the weekend after leaving with him almost a month ago.
Police say Nqobile Nkonyeni dropped nine-month-old Christopher Khutyiswayo off at a relative's home in Gamalakhe on Friday.
She fled after claiming she was going back outside to pay for the meter taxi. Police are searching for Nkonyeni.

Little Christopher's father, Charles Nkonyeni - from Murchison - says they are relieved their baby is back home.
"I'm happy to find my son - especially to find him alive. What made me the happiest is seeing the smile on his mother's face. I haven't seen that smile in weeks. We'd like to thank everyone who has supported us," he says.
