Teen dies following stabbing outside Pinetown school
A 15-year-old boy has died after he was stabbed outside a school in Pinetown, west of Durban.
Paramedics says they were called to the scene in the Ashley area yesterday.
Emer-G-Med's Kyle Van Reenen says they found the boy with a stab wound to his abdomen and in a critical condition.
He says Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to stabilize him.
He was then placed onto a mechanical ventilator to assist him in breathing, and transported rapidly by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he's succumbed to his injuries.
