Teacher shot during robbery at school outside Pinetown

A teacher has been shot during an alleged armed robbery at a primary school in Klaarwater, southwest of Durban.
ALS Paramedics' Garrith Jamieson says medics found the wounded teacher had already been taken to hospital when they arrived.
He says another person is being treated at the scene for gunshot wounds.
"Whilst leaving there was an exchange of shots between teachers, security and the suspects.

“As a result of the shooting, two people were shot and wounded. One teacher is believed to have been shot and was rushed privately to hospital before paramedics' arrival.
"Another man in his twenties, believed to be a suspect, was shot multiple times. Advanced life support paramedics are currently treating him on the scene. The entire crime scene has been cornered off by SAPS, and they will be investigating further.”
