Taxi overturns in Maritzburg, 10 injured

Emergency services have treated ten people injured in a single-vehicle crash on the Sweetwaters Road in Pietermaritzburg.
A mini-bus taxi overturned and landed on the side of the road in Blackridge this morning.
ER24's Russel Meiring says medics found some of the passengers had already climbed out of the mini-bus taxi by the time they reached the accident scene.
"Paramedics arrived on scene this morning to find the taxi lying on its side.The patients were found seated on the pavement. Medics assessed them found that they had sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Meiring says no serious injuries or fatalities were reported.
"The patients were treated and transported to a nearby hospital for further care. Local authorities were on scene for further investigation," Meiring said.
