Suspects sought after Umhlali business burglary
Four suspects are still at large following a business burglary in the Esenembe area in Umhlali this morning.
Police spokesperson Jay Naicker says the suspects' suspicious vehicle was spotted by patrolling members outside the shop that is believed to have been robbed.
"The suspects opened fire at the members of the security company and there was an exchange of gunfire. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
"The vehicle that was used, a Toyota Verso was found loaded with stolen property at the scene," he said.
Naicker says two of the suspects are believed to have been wounded during a high speed chase and shootout with members of a security company.
