Suspects in Hammarsdale school shooting still at large

Police are probing a case of attempted murder after a security guard was shot and wounded outside a school in Hammarsdale, west of Durban.
Reports from the scene are that a group of men, walking past the school, opened fire on the 34-year-old on Tuesday.
The guard who was struck in both his legs was airlifted to hospital.

KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Thanjiswa Ngcobo says the men then ran into a bush.
"Three security guards were performing their duties at Thandaza railway line in Mpumalanga township and three armed men opened fire at them. A 34-year-old security guard sustained two gunshot wounds."
