Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Three suspects, who had allegedly planned on robbing a business in Umhlanga, are due to line up in the Durban Magistrate's Court.
Authorities have linked one of them to a cash-in-transit heist.
Police found two guns in their possession on Wednesday.
One weapon was positively matched to a gun used in a crime on Brighton Beach.
The other firearm's serial number had been filed off.

Their vehicle, stolen in a carjacking in Pinetown, was fitted with false number plates.
They've been charged with possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, as well as possession of suspected stolen property.
"Three people around Gateway were arrested with some firearms suspected for a cash heist and were suspected to be involved in the criminality of cash heists. Police in this province and national are on top of this situation," said Police Minister Bheki Cele.
