Suspects arrested hours after Lamontville triple murder

Lamontville police have made four arrests, hours after the murders of three people.

SAPS spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says officers responded to a shooting on Ndlovu Road on Saturday night.
They found the bodies of Siphelele Dimba and Lungisani Xhoza.
"They discovered a vehicle that was parked on the road. Upon checking the vehicle, a man was found slumped on the driver's side with gunshot wounds.
"Another man was found inside the boot of the vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were declared dead at the scene by paramedics," Gwala said.
Gwala says in a nearby bush 18-year-old Navishka Roopnarain was discovered dead.
A man was found wounded.
After a search that night, four suspects, hiding in a taxi parked outside one of the suspect's home, were caught.
Ammunition, illegal firearms and 30 straws of cocaine were seized from the scene.
They're due to line up in the Durban Magistrates Court tomorrow.
