Suspected serial rapist caught
Police say a man suspected of being a serial rapist will appear in the Durban Magistrates' Court soon following his arrest yesterday by the Brighton Beach Task Team.
It is alleged he carried out a spate of rapes in Wentworth and Montclair since the beginning of this year.
Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says he faces six counts of rape.
''He raped the women after leading them into certain places where he promised them employment.
''Six cases have been opened at the police station so far,'' he said.
