Suspected Durban drug dealers to remain behind bars
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
The seven alleged drug dealers who were arrested in and around Durban at the weekend will remain behind bars for the time being.

More than R50-million worth of suspected drugs, as well as drug manufacturing equipment, was seized during a city-wide swoop that saw police uncover what they have labelled 'drug lab's in Springfield Park and Westville on Friday.
The accused made a brief appearance in the Durban Magistrate's Court today.
Four women and three men squeezed into the dock.
They all kept their gazes on the floor and some tried to hide from journalists' cameras by covering their faces with items of clothing.
The accused face charges of dealing in drugs.
The court heard that the State is opposed to their being released on bail.
In the meantime though, all seven have given the police home addresses in Cape Town.
The case has been adjourned until next week for these to be verified.
They have all been remanded in custody at the Durban Central Police Station until then.
