Suspect to appear in PMB court for triple murder
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
A group of Sobantu residents, faith-based organisations and social workers say they'll take to the streets outside the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court.
This is where the suspect charged with the murders of two women and a child is expected to apply for bail on Thursday.
Zanele, her daughter Simangele, and her eight-year-old granddaughter, Zenande Ndlela, were allegedly raped and strangled in their home last week.
A 29-year-old man was arrested after the women's neighbours came forward with information.

Social Development MEC Nonhlanhla Khoza will join the community protest.
Her spokesperson Mhlabunzima Memela says they'll call for the suspect to be denied bail.
"We are facing a number of gender-based violence cases in this provinces and it is important for communities to come together and unite in opposing any bail applications and that they isolate those people who are involved in such kinds of cases."
