Suspect in Shallcross murder found dead
Updated | By Bernadette Wicks
A suspect that was wanted in connection with yesterday's murder of Shallcross woman Demisha Naik, has been found dead.

Chatsworth police found his body earlier today. Police say it appears he took his own life.
Police spokesperson Thulani Zwane says an inquest docket has been opened.
"On their arrival in the house, they noticed that there was a body of a 24-year-old man who sustained gunshot wounds in his chest. He was identified as the same suspect wanted for a murder case reported in Shallcross."
Twenty-three-year-old Naik was found dead in her flat in Jamaica Heights yesterday afternoon.
She'd been stabbed.
Family friend, Richlee Soobramoney says they're struggling to come to terms with her death.
"We can't really speak to the mum because she is still in mourning and shock. They still can't believe it. They're taking it very badly. Her brother and dad are on another level. It's their baby girl."
