Suspect nabbed after security guard murdered in Mobeni

A murder suspect is due in court today after a security guard was beaten to death at a business premises in Mobeni, south of Durban.

Two security guards on duty yesterday came under attack in the early hours of the morning.
They were tied up and assaulted by an unknown group of attackers - who stole tyres from the company.
One guard - who was stabbed - is recovering in hospital.
SAPS spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says thorough police work led to an arrest on the day.

"They managed to arrest a 34-year-old suspect and they managed to recover all tyres stolen from the premises."
The suspect will appear in court tomorrow in the Durban Magistrate's Court.
