Suspect in missing Pinetown girl's case known to family

The family of a missing ten-year-old Pinetown girl says the woman arrested in connection with the child'sdisappearance is known to them.

Siphumelele Mzimba went missing a week ago in Nazareth - and still hasn't been found.
A 39-year-old woman was arrested in Johannesburg and charged with kidnapping.
She appeared in court yesterday and expected to apply for bail next week.
Nkali says they've hardly slept.
"I can barely sleep. We're busy trying to search for her. I sleep for about two hours. We're very worried. We are not taking this well," Nkali said.

Nkali says they are at a loss for words that someone who lived among them is the main suspect.
"She lived in the area of which I was the site caretaker. She lived here as a neighbour for a period of time before she moved. At first, shesaid she sold the child. She changes her story every day. The child went missing while going to her," he said.
